with mizithra cheese
Ingredients:

See the sweet and savory variations you can make with fried honey/savory pastries here
Instructions:
In a bowl, we add the mizithra cheese, the egg, the pepper, the salt, the roughly chopped mint and mix well.
We transfer it to a plastic piping bag with a small opening.
Instead of cutting the dough into 4 strips as mentioned in the "Traditional Fried Honey Pastries from Chania" recipe, we cut it once in the middle.
We take one sheet and place the cream near the edge, forming a narrow strip.
We fold the sheet so that the cream is covered, and press the edges firmly with our fingers to make sure they seal.
We leave the beginning and the end without cream and press them well to seal the dough.
We cut all the edges with the dough cutter and fry it like the fried honey pastries.
Once we take it out, it is ready to serve.
