Savory tsoureki sandwich

tsoureki (Traditional Easter Bread)

for two sandwiches 

1 tsoureki (Traditional Easter Bread)

Smoked ham

Mortadella 

Smoked turkey

Gouda or edam or kasseri

Tomato

bell pepper

Lettuce

A little bit of Vitam (margarine)

For the turkey sauce

25 gr mayonnaise

12 g yogurt

5 g mustard

*Most of the tsoureki (Traditional Easter Bread)that are sold in supermarkets are not very sweet, but they have many aromas that match the intense flavors of the cold cuts.  

Cut the tsoureki bread in two and cut it in half, open it and put it in a strong oven to bake a little. Remove it, brush the outer surface with a little Vitam (margarine) and bake it again for a while longer.

For the smoked ham 

Brush a little Vitam (margarine), add the cheese, tomato, ham, bell pepper, mortadella and lettuce

For the smoked turkey 

Spread the sauce on the tsoureki bread. Add the cheese, lettuce, the tomato, bell pepper, turkey.
